Game Spotlight: Indigo Prophecy

Indigo Prophecy PS2 and XBOX

Like the French guy says in the tutorial, this is not just a game it is an experience. The game play and controls are all predetremined. Its like you are following a movie, but it is done so well. You not only play as the killer, but you also play as the detective trying to catch him. You don't die by getting shot or something, you die because the stress becomes too much and you give up on life. This is a very deep game and everyone should play it.
The killer is Lucas, a seemingly ordinary man who works in a bank's IT department. One night while eating at a diner he is possesed by some sort of ancient demon and kills a man. From the moment you come back and realize what you have done you have the opportunity to try and cover up your crime as best you can. This will reduce your stress level for your character, which in this game is pretty much health. After you leave the restaurant you go back to your apartment and go to sleep. Thats when the game jumps to Carla, the dectective. You have to question all the witnesses and look for evidence. The game jumps back and forth like this the whole time. You are constantly finding out more about why this is happening to Lucas and the Ancient mystery that somehow involves them all.
This game is absolutely amazing and definitely one of my favorite games of all time. This game just maybe too deep for you I don't think you could handle it.

A New Direction

I have decided to take this blog in a new direction. Aside from watching a lot of unusual movies my husband and I love video games. He likes and is amazing at pretty much any game and he shows me all the great games to play. I have found that a lot of people who are reporting on video games are just talking about them because they are getting paid to do so. Some big game company pays G4 a whole lot of money and puts out a ton of advertisements and people buy it. What about all the other games that come out that are amazing and will keep us interested for hours and hours? Who is reporting on them? Well, me now.
I have a whole new schedule planned out for this blog. It will be like my own mini magazine for great games for real gamers. Monday, will be Movie Monday, where I will showcase a new interesting movie I have seen. Tuesday will be a game spotlight, featuring a game, old or new that you may not have heard of or played before, but is awesome. Wednesday will be special article day. I will choose different topics in video games to write about. Thursday is another game spotlight and Firday will be the Greatest Game You've Never Heard of This Week.
I'm really excited about this new blog and I'm glad that I'm able to combine my two loves into prose. I hope everyone has as much fun reading the blog as I am having putting it together. Thanx!
